A hair transplant at Wolf Hair Restoration in Cincinnati is permanent. The transplanted hairs come from areas of the scalp that are resistant to hair loss, so they will continue to grow for life.

No. We use local anesthesia so patients are comfortable during the procedure. After the anesthesia is injected, you may feel some pressure, but most people report little to no pain. Mild soreness afterward usually goes away within a few days.

No. A hair transplant is done using local anesthesia, so you will be awake but relaxed during the procedure. Most patients watch TV, listen to music, or even nap while we work. There is no need for general anesthesia, which makes recovery faster and easier.

FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction): Hairs are removed one at a time, leaving no linear scar. Healing is fast and it’s a good option if you wear shorter hairstyles.

FUT (Follicular Unit Transplantation): A strip of scalp is removed and divided into grafts. It allows for more grafts in one session and is often best for advanced hair loss.

At Wolf Hair Restoration, we also offer ARTAS® robotic hair transplants in Cincinnati, which use AI for precise follicle harvesting.

The cost depends on how many grafts you need and the method used (FUE, FUT, or ARTAS). At Wolf Hair Restoration, we keep pricing fair and offer interest-free financing and flexible payment plans. Most procedures range from a few thousand dollars to over ten thousand dollars.

New growth usually starts about 3–4 months after surgery. By 6 months, you’ll see noticeable improvement. Full, natural results take approximately 12 months as your new hair thickens and matures.

You may be a candidate if you have:

  • Male or female pattern hair loss
  • Enough donor hair on the back or sides of your head
  • Good overall health and realistic expectations

If you’re not a surgical candidate, we also offer PRP therapy for hair loss in Cincinnati, prescription medications, and laser hair restoration (Keralase®).
