Repair and Corrective Hair Surgery
A considerable amount of the hair transplants we perform are corrective in nature. Antiquated methods performed at other practices, including large “baby doll” style plugs and sub par surgery are corrected using modern instruments, techniques, technology and a great deal of skill.
Poor quality hair loss treatments often have a negative effect on patients’ confidence and their faith in the hair loss industry as a whole. A bad hair transplant is outwardly obvious, most often worse than a naturally receding hairline and can be exceedingly embarrassing for the individual.
The breadth of the corrective hair surgery depends on the extent of the previous surgery results. Other factors that can lead to unnatural results are hairline placement and symmetry, and graft placement/angle. Surgery performed on a patient who is too young can also adversely affect the outcome.
